IPAlpha Calendar Integration

IPAlpha Calendar Integration is the pastoral appointment scheduling system of Igreja Presbiteriana de Alphaville (IPAlpha), a church located in Alphaville, Brazil. It connects pastors' Google Calendars to compute their availability and lets church members book pastoral appointments through WhatsApp.

What this app does

For pastors: a panel where each pastor connects their Google account (via OAuth 2.0) and sets their availability windows. The app reads busy times from Google Calendar to compute open slots, and creates or cancels, on the pastor's calendar, only the appointment events booked through the platform itself.
For church members: a WhatsApp assistant that shows available times, records the appointment request and sends it to the pastor for approval. Confirmations, declines and cancellations are communicated through WhatsApp as well.

Why we request access to Google Calendar

Calendar access (the calendar and calendar.events scopes) is used exclusively to read the pastor's availability and to manage the appointment events created by the platform. We do not read e-mails or any other account data, and calendar events are not copied to our servers. See our Privacy Policy for details.

The panel is restricted to IPAlpha pastors: open the pastor panel. Church members book appointments directly through the church's official WhatsApp.
